Heroes and Villains
Some divide us into Heroes and Villains but it is not that simple.
A Hero who saves the day,
A Villain who ruins it.
The Hero will risk you to save the world,
A Villain will risk the world to save you.
But not every Villain will want to save you,
And not every Hero will be strong enough to save the world.
Some Villains are just that, Villains.
Villains to be Villains, just to hurt anyone.
There are two types of Villains,
Those who do it for themselves,
And those who do it for them.
Some say they want to be with the Villain,
For only a Villain will truly do anything for you.
Risk the world and anything that exists.
I am that.
But some call me a Hero,
Someone who might one day change the world.
But I always expect myself to destroy.

Inspiration
Heroes and Villains is inspired by the popular trope: “A hero will risk her life to save the world, but a villain will risk the world to save her”, but doesn’t treat it as an absolutely correct statement.
I acknowledge that there is no black and white, and sometimes a villain is just that, a villain.
But I then also bring it back to me: what am I? Well, there are differing opinions on that question, and I tried to defy the expectations, and then brought it back to my own fear: that I destroy the good around me.
